I am from

I am from the backroads of life,
Rarely anyone travels by,
and when the snowstorm hits even the city forgets we exist,
I am from the dark woods,
the stench of mildew is the strongest,
It has become so lonely the birds don't even sing anymore.
I am from a family with an empty cold home,
the walls naked and embarassed,
unlike your home with photographs, happiness, and memories,
I am from a cold atmosphere,
but only when I am home.
