Tranquil Dreams
Laying under the vague covers
in a cold sweat,
too stressed to fall
asleep.
Pondering about life,
eyes closed, gently,
but it’s easy to wake up.
Drifting in and out of restless sleep
hour after hour,
still waiting,
for what?
Sensations of falling slowly.
Faintly sleeping,
as movement stops,
shivers run through your body
as your temperature drops
moreover, your heart rate slows.
Relaxing,
restoring needed energy
sleeping deeply,
alone,
quiet in silence,
dreaming of emotions.
Well rested.
