Fear: an AoT Poem
When the Scouts
Ride out beyond the wall
There is always the possibility they'll leave precious loved one behind
Loved ones who:
Wave them off with a smile
Cheer them on loudly
And feel pride when they ride off with an underlining fear that they'll never return
They pray for
Those brave men and women
Who travel outside the walls hoping that they'll come back
Brave soldiers who:
Shake with fear at facing the enemy
Pray to an unresponsive God to survive another expedition
And scream in the giant hands of that which they hunt
Fear grips those
Both inside and outside the walls
Because they know that not everyone makes it back in one piece

I've been on an Attack on Titan poem spree lately, so here is one of them!
