The Fall of Olympus
We Stand
A new dawn awakens.
Men conquer nature, women give nurture.
A world so raw and fragile, mortals look to the skies.
They will fear Us, they will serve Us.
We will be their saviors.
We Rise
A race of champions is conceived.
Men will conquer nations, women will catalyze war.
We will outlive empires, kings, pharaohs.
Ivory and gold will become beacons of power.
We will be their Gods.
We Rule
Olympia rises, forged in devotion.
Temples, statues, erected in Our glory.
Whether from fear or allegiance, their piety endures.
Crowned in glory, We lead the world.
We will be their Idols.
We Tremble
Greed and envy corrupt the lands.
Wooden toy soldiers who believed they could play God.
Olympus was shaken by the monotheistic.
Our shrines burned, Our temples turned to relics.
We will be their destruction.
We Fall
Pedestals smashed, we are no longer mighty.
Our reverence shattered, as if we were glass,
as if we were never ivory or gold, as if we were never Gods.
We are nothing but remembrances, antiques of the past.
We will never be Gods again.
