Now is the time.
There is a time for everything
An action for every season of life
The moral of this poem is
The world doesn’t change
People do.
Now is the time for learning
The books are out
The teachers are speaking
The pens are flying
Now is the time for growing
The world is becoming complicated
The people are becoming different
The crowds are becoming the same
Now is the time for dancing
The music blares
The party’s wild
The clouds leave the sky
Now is the time for adventure
The wanderlust is fresh
The outside is open
The road is leading everywhere
Now is the time for stability
The work is becoming repetitive
The home is becoming unpredictable
The love is becoming dim
Now is the time for dying
The books are closed
The people are all the same
The sky is cloudy
The wanderlust is old
The road only leads to one place.
Now is the time.

I began writing this on the bus ride home from a particularly rough day. Then I noticed it remind me of the only bible verse I know Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
