The Cage We Live In
A brain,
a heart,
a set of lungs,
two eyes,
many veins,
a nose,
a mouth,
nerves,
emotions,
thoughts,
senses,
and an ocean of crimson.
That's what makes a person.
Or is it?
Is a person more than the inside or the outside?
We define ourselves by
beauty,
smarts,
feelings,
and actions.
As a person we could be so much more
than a tiny spec on earth.
We could be more.
Anything we want.
But we hold back.
We limit ourselves.
We are more.
Why do we choose to stay inside the
box?
To chain ourselves?
We could live
we could be free.
