Petals sprinkle the ground,
A celebration for the crowned.
Choirs sing a jubilant tune.
Through the morning and noon.
A crown glides through the air,
Along with a worshiping prayer.
Children laugh triumphant,
While parents yell, redundant.
Evening falls in a jumble,
While people continue to bumble.
Stars light the sky,
While the moon soars high.
Lights brightly twinkle,
While shadows wrinkle.
Kids begin to mellow,
And yawn, wishing for a pillow.
