I'm Fine
It's a twisted kind of madness,
succumbing our minds.
It's like every time something's wrong
we're only capable of saying
"I am fine."
These three words,
much like others,
are said too much.
These three words are much more than just words.
They have the power to shatter the heart
or settle the mind.
It's all up to the insanity of the brain.
But aren't we all a little broken?
Aren't we all a strained?
Maybe we're all a little too insane to be telling everyone we're okay.
