Nothing More Than a Memory
He was such a beautiful person, with such a beautiful soul,
So many flaws, but I believed they were perfect, he was perfect,
The way you would look at me, the way the words rolled off of your tongue so perfectly,
The way your hand used to fit in my hand, the bond we had
Time spent with you was never time wasted,
Memories were cherished, and forever will be cherished
Especially the ones I remember so fondly, just as if they were yesterday
Our late nights out, 12 am McDonald runs,
Deep conversations, about life and everything along with it
Late night talks with the person I grew so closely to,
Even the times we were away from each other, all of them will be remembered,
But now you’re just a memory,
A memory that will forever be in my mind.
