Maddy The Cat
Five o’clock on the dot
The radio seems to play.
The sound of that song during that slot
Makes me want to do ballet,
I’m twisting and turning through the house.
On my way to the back
I’m trying to take off my blouse,
In order to ready the snack.
The song stops.
And I realize why.
The sound of maddy chewing her chops,
Only leaves for me to sigh.
For finally the song is done.
My cat has finally shut up.
The sounds in the house have seized to none
And I can go back to cleaning up.
