Vertigo MAG
It hasn’t snowed
All year so far
Except for yesterday
When the sky gushed open like a
Broken sunny side up egg and white stars
came fluttering down.
This morning it has mostly melted
Smothered by a well-meaning sun
But there are still patches strewn about
Like lost shadows of ashen cigarette butts
And peering through them are
Bright green blades of grass
That give me vertigo to look at.
