The Joy of Creation
The universe is art
And artwork has a story
So whenever you wonder
How the sky came to be
It began with a painter.
A long time ago
Before the world was born
There was never any color
Our whole planet was gray
A tasteless existence.
Then came the artist
Who loved to create
His biggest aspiration
Was to make a statement
A monumental art piece.
He conjured an idea
Wanting to bring change
A colossal difference
In this bland new world
So he created the sky.
The great blue expanse
We now know and love
Came from the mind
Of a single painter
The maker of a masterpiece.
So when you question
The blue sky’s beginning
Know that it’s creation
Had a humble start
When an artist painted the sky.
