Armageddon Redefined
The world begins to crumble.
Once majestic buildings are turned to rubble.
Hazy clouds of smog
Darken through the orange-tinted sky like a fog.
An earthquake tremors in rage,
With destructive waves crashing ashore,
Suffocating any creature who dares to explore
Near the tsunami’s water cage.
Zeus thunders above
Flinging searing bolts of energy,
Threatening to destroy all with a mere shove.
A volcano erupts in the distance,
Sending of plumes of smoke and ash through the air,
Dispersing a malodorous smell and much despair.
Raging fires burn without mercy,
Lighting up the world
With destruction, pain and much urgency.
Every living entity withers away
With all in disarray.
Through all this insanity
Is the ultimate death of humanity.

The idea of world-disaster is an extremely graphic subject. I decided that it would be a great topic to write about, as there is plenty of lead-way on the topic, allowing me to range from a variety of topics which are related to the destruction of the world.
