Flour dusts the kitchen,
ingredients paint the walls.
Excitement is here.
Kneading away the dough,
clinging on, act like glue.
Bread forms.
Rising up — touching the stars,
clinging to surfaces,
yeast rises.
Punched into the earth,
collapsing without concern,
dough collapses.
Risen above potential,
final shape forms.
Bread is ready.
