You're Emotionally Destructive

a self-igniting fire,
feigning complete innocence
while you lurk until Happiness stays
and you find complete bliss

then you burn it, torch it,
set a blaze so blatant

that you shrug
and suggest
why don’t we simply ignore it

a whirlwind of agitation
yet you think you’re inculpable
of the crimes you’ve committed
all the people now disenabled

a white colored pencil
acting as if your words are the slightest bit

visible

as if they’re
    consequential
    rational
or even the slightest bit
    reasonable

you’re emotionally destructive
lingering to shatter

you’re emotionally destructive
but you promise you’ll be
    better.
