I lay beside you
every day.
With infatuation
I am overcome.
And so comforted
I make my home
within your eyes.

 

Your eyes
that see
and look into me
never fail to deny
all those who speak against me.
Never yet
do I return the favor.
And so selfishly
I make my home
within your eyes.

 

I lay beside you
every day.
And never yet
do I realize
that all the sorrows of the skies
they too
make their homes
within your eyes.
