Adore.
Teach me adoration,
as deeply as you adore the night sky.
To stare up into the array of radiant lights,
and to feel as if each one were to shine on it's own accord.
That constellations are only but a figment of someone's imagination,
yet utterly lovely at the same time.
To think that maybe if we admired long enough,
new constellations would form that we could have all our own.
Show me how in the star's alignment,
lovers will find their way to whom they belong.
Tell me of how we are the lovers,
that the stars aligned so precisely for.
That there is a galaxy of stars to fuse,
but the universe connected ours for the sheer beauty that we would be together.
Reassure me that though you will forever adore the stars,
that I am your most admirable thought.
