Your presence, a wordless comfort,
Like a cat silently snuggling up to me.
Always full energy and light on your feet,
As if you’re ready to pounce.
Your familiar friendship, an unconditional companion,
As if a collar and bell rested around your neck.
Like a feline’s tail bending with every step,
You keep my unsteady life balanced.
