Flowers

Those flowers leave their traces
along the pathway to those houses
where we secretly play after school

Those flowers would never tell
how beautiful the underwater world is
when with artificial breaths

I see the falling leaves dying still
through the blow of the white summer breeze
I hear the whispers of the silent sea,
growling, quivering
It is coming towards me

Running, running
like a thunderbolt I fall
Ere they see me
I shall be buried within thy loving eyes
Drowning, drowning
into this disappointing mad world
Ere they seize me
I shall be sleeping my long sleep

Countless dreams have come over me
flooding, flooding
A moment of dim lightness breaks into this freezing underwater world
blinding, blinding

Then the frightened birds overhead fly away,
The raging stream under my feet flows rushingly
Will you be looking for the girl
who is gone with those callous flowers?

Those who run after me--
they are laughing
they are bluffing

Being young yet condemned
That is who we are

And they say we will never succeed
While you are running together with me
far, far away--
Through the forests,
into the shady night

Far, far away,
along the pathway to those houses
where we secretly play after school

It is a girl's fantasy.

I was inspired by the beautiful flowers outside of my window.
