The Girl Living in Trump's America
We're scared he'll make America divisive again,
We're scared he'll make America isolationist again,
We're scared he'll try to put America first again, and fail, and face the retaliation of the world.
But she's not scared.
She has hope.
She has confidence.
She has faith that the nation will forever move itself towards progress. Progress may be undone but the mind of the people will not. Change is eternal. Conservatism is faulty be definition. The older we get the moral inclined we feel to keep everything the same, except she doesn't.
She has hope.
She has confidence.
She embraces change. She believes she'll get her rights. She believes people will recognize her rights to her own body. She believes people are becoming more aware of how they treat others.
She has hope.
She has faith.
She still has love.
It's the end of the world as she knows it, yet she is fine...
