~ Heavy Rain
~ Heavy Rain
The Whispers came back, "As time is my enemy in today’s age, I try to escape, but my thoughts are too loud. Unable to dream away." He stood beside me. “Have you ever wanted to go back to the way things used to be, when time was your friend & not your enemy? Let me make you a deal that you can't refuse. Let me bring you back.” The drops splattered, hearing drips on the edge of the roof. Smashing like crowds of roaring people. I didn't want to change anything even if it was true. Everything was how it was supposed to be, even if it meant losing you. Through thick & thin, the pain in my heart, knowing you moved on. But this is what you wanted all along. He saw that in me. I always stayed, I never ran away. Leaving first, couldn't do it anymore. If this wasn't for you I have nothing left to prove. Tears fell to the ground as the clouds cried out loud. At least we both dyed out as the drops fell off my face. He told me "what are you most afraid?"
