The One Defeated
Stepped outside,
Armour and all,
Battling the odds in the war of love.
The flag I fight for undecided,
My sword or the foe,
My heart in shards,
A moment as soon realised, I was
The one defeated.
Taking timid treads,
Uncertain of my deluding victory,
Shining, the fake aura;
Betrayed me once afore
All along the lines, I,
The one defeated.
Bearing in my dreary hands,
Dried off blood and hollow veins,
The sword of revenge
Is all I now own.
War horns blaring triumph,
With muscles rivered
By mountain strength,
My dagger raised
To the height of the stars,
I slay my mortal foe.
Died the foe forever;
For he,
None but my own fear
Of fighting for my dear life
Eerily lay inside.
Along came the moment,
Truthful as I went
Forward to the skies;
No more
The one defeated.
