I don't want to get over you.
I don’t want to get over
you.
Your smile that is worth more than money,
your humor that saves me from my awkwardness,
your affection that you decided to gift me with.
All gone as if I never existed.
You idiot I’m in pain.
Even my dreams
haunt me with what I want most
but can’t have.
You.
And the worst part?
I don’t even think you know
I’m suffering.
People say time heals all wounds,
but I don’t want to heal from you
or forget how your friday nights were spent
educating me on the classics of movies.
To move on from what we had
means not to care anymore,
and I don’t think I could bare through it.
So no.
No,
I don’t want to get over
you.
