Nobody Cares About the Stars
Nobody cares about the stars
When you walk into a room.
Your golden eyes cause them to appear dull,
Twinkling like specks of diamonds.
Nobody cares about the moon
When you walk into a room.
Your perfect smile ceaselessly glows,
Illuminating everything around you.
Nobody cares about the sun
When you walk into a room.
Your blonde hair cascades down your shoulders
And radiates all the light we’ll ever need.
Nobody cares about the sky
When you walk into a room.
Your china doll face is beautiful,
Tranquil to gaze at all through the day.
Nobody cares about the world
When you walk into a room.
The universe forgets to breathe for a while
As all eyes fix on you.
Nobody cares about the stars
When you walk into a room.
I know you can outshine them all,
And unlike stars, you never go away.
