My Brother
If I were to see a boy twin of me
From a mile away
Holding his head high
With a welcoming smile
Dressed in a grey sweater
Dark jeans that grabbed lightly at his thighs
With his shoes tied in a precise bow
I could tell it was he from head to toe
If I were to feel his warm embrace
I would smell a faint scent of cologne
And feel not a hair on his face
Hands like silk would pat my shoulder
And I know it would be he, my older brother
If I were to hear his voice from afar
He would tell me about his newest favorite car
Laughing and conversing we would enjoy our time together
Creating memories that will last forever
