Racism

At this age, I see it as disease and nothing else
I believe that it has existed since the beginning of civilizations
Sadly it will endure until the end of time because not everyone will be cured
I want to understand how someone can choose to accept this pestilence
Sadly those people are blinded by the disease
I guess that everyone is born with a bit of it already in them
As we grow we begin to judge others because of their skin tone
Slowly we either feed the disease or suppress it
We need to see each other as one human race on planet Earth
Slowly we can stifle the virus that runs deep in the world’s roots
There are times I find myself judging and I feel guilty
Most times there are people who are bad impressions
They ruin it for the race and ethnicity they belong to
Is it ok to judge these bad examples?
No, we need to see each other as one human race on planet Earth
I realize that we can not totally eliminate this disease that infects billions
Again, we can try to attenuate it but a bit of it will still live inside of us
But we need to see each other as one human race on planet Earth
And we can rid ourselves completely of this virus, we just have to open our eyes
After all, we are all brothers and sisters who share the same Father.

This issue is something that is global and the world will always have to deal with this. Racism is a disease that infects millions and millions. I want people to see past it and look towards the future.
