My Tones
I am rosey red—
passionate and expressive,
caring and considerate,
positive and always busy.
But when there is too much rosey red,
the dancing dawn leaves hues of midnight blue—
Exhausted and sensitive,
a plate of duties more full than a super moon,
Is when sadness and insecurity take flight.
A mushy grape purple waiting to emerge from conflict;
my rosey red will always radiate through the dusking sky.
