Always
God said he is with us always
He did, and he wants us to know that
But who is God really
He is powerful and magnificent
Some think he is big
Filling every gap and space in the universe
But who is God really
Is he the sun
Following me as a reflection on the water
Leaving at night
Only to reveal himself in the stars
Or is he within us
A small seed in our brains
Only around places with people
For what's the point in being somewhere where people are not
Unless, of course, he is only within us
Because he is a metaphor
A thought within our brains
Nothing more
Unless he is the sun
Revealing himself in the reflection on the water as I ride away
But man can never run from the sun
Or run from themselves
For only the sun can leave you
And only your soul can disappear
So yeah God is everywhere
For if a tree fell in the woods
It wouldn't make a sound
