The Trip to Neverland
As I walked to the doors of heaven
I stood standing in the door
Took one look, turned and said,
"Have I been here before?"
"Of course you have, my child," said He.
"At some point everyone will."
I looked back towards my window
Feeling cold and chill.
He asked me,"May we go?"
I said, "Just one more thing.
When we go up to that place
Will it hurt or sting?"
He paused to think, said,"No,
But it will hurt to leave them behind."
I smiled, and took his arm
"To that pain, I am blind."
He smiled too, and gave dust
That would allow me to finally fly.
Then I flew away with Peter
Towards the second star in the sky.
