Late Night Thoughts
As I lie beneath my distorted sheets
I wonder why on the busiest streets
I still manage to feel alone,
I guess the answer is unknown.
I was looking for my better half,
But you couldn’t even make me laugh.
All of those times you said you’d be there,
I sat and waited, but you weren’t anywhere.
As I lie beneath my distorted sheets
I wonder why my heart skips a couple of beats.
Is it tired of waiting for the end to come?
Or is it overwhelmed because you’re so dumb?
I guess you thought your answer was cast
Right between your lips where you kissed her last.
You never breathed a word to me again
Which is why I have no faith left in men.
As I lie beneath my distorted sheets
I wonder why life always deceits.
If this is anything like a sad story
No one will be left to share the glory.
In the end it is always the good people who die
And everyone else always fakes the cry.
However, I hope that when your time comes
You’ll be trapped in Tophet with the other scums.
