The Monster, he sits
Upon her shoulder.
Waiting until she becomes bolder.

Then he whispers,
Into her ear.
Her greatest fear.
“You are fat.”

Her lies,
Weigh her down, like the weights,
In her pockets.

She fades,
Like summer into fall.
Eventually she’ll be,
Gone.

Don't set boundaries for yourself.<br /> Because building boundaries is only going to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

I'm in tears this is so amazingly good. Hits home because of my body image issues.
Keep up writing amazing poetry. And feel free to check out my poetry.
