The Little boy was filled with joy ,

He sang with his mother to fill his void ,
The life he lived was not his choice
But the poor little boy
Had giants to destroy.

Sleepless nights
Turned me coy,
While my parents fight
The muffling
Raised the noise.
The glasses crashed ,
Mother cried ,
Father beat her mask ,
As I was fixing mine.

Mother wept ,
Dad slammed the porch door
I ran out of bed,
And ran next door.
To find my mom
Head first on the floor.

I sank to her side ,
Then stood her up
At my side ,
Putting my head on her thigh
She hid her bruises Inside ,

I didn't know how ...
I was so young to know why …
All I knew was …

The Little boy was filled with joy ,
He sang with his mother to fill his void ,
The life he lived was not his choice
But the poor little boy
Had giants to destroy.
