Soaring Apart
Baby, it's like this:
Secrets will be buried 'till
We finally say
Goodbye, not "hello"-
The sound of a beginning
Is as far gone as
Feelings of regret
Which linger like soaring birds
Which we were. Stuborn
As we are, we'll fly
'Till our feathers lose color,
We lose each other,
And our prominent
Songs of the skies drift apart-
It is mirroring us.
