My Spring
I wade through warm tides,
Soft spring breezes with golden
Flecks of sunshine foam.
I walk on a sky
As blue as a rainbow that
Welcomes my purple
With armfuls of hugs,
Though it would be right to give
Up, up and away.
I dream of a hope
The color of sunset, but
live in beginnings.
There are no black-white
Borders, just edges blending
Smoothly together
With fresh picked yellow,
Orange, and pink, swirling through a
Bright sea of flowers.
I wade through this sea,
It is my hope, my love, my
Gift of memories.
