The Trees Come Awake
The trees come awake,
Budding green on tired tree,
Finally alive.
Winter was so long,
Waiting spring eternity,
Almost loosing hope.
The ground once tried,
And brown is starting to turn,
green once more this spring.
Dead color winter,
is alive and bright again,
as are the people.
Turned cold now changed cool,
will be warm and we will wake,
as trees in the spring.
