The stifling pangs of
Anxiety creep forth from
Under the carpets
The sharp talons of
Perfectionism grate at
My tender insides
The cacophony
Of the unwanted voices
Drills me down to dust
And all of these beasts
So perfectly poised to kill
Still cannot kill me.
