On Feb 11, 1963, fifty-four years ago today, Sylvia Plath stuck her head in the oven and gassed herself to death. A brilliant writer who struggled with depression. She wrote many poems in her last days and seemed to have the passion for poetry writing burn inside her. We poets never forget her work. Rest in peace sweet soul.
