The last muddy snow, seeps into the ground,
meaning that spring will soon be ‘round.
Spring signifies one thing to me.
Baseball will soon be free
Breaking free of the shackles of winter which it was bound.

This piece is inspired by the time of year it was written, the spring. The limerick discusses the signs of the return of baseball.
