Well Worn Sweater
The well worn sweater you lent me
I’m wearing it right now
Even after a hundred washes it still smells like you somehow
I hope you’re sent never fades away
I hope the blue color doesn’t turn to gray
I hope somehow somewhere you read this poem
I hope you think of it as a good omen
I hope you come back to me tonight
I hope that we no longer fight
I hope when I cry you tell me that it’s alright
That you forgive me and we can still be together
And I hope I can keep your well worn sweater
