Angela
I'm against myself
I feel so alone
Shunned
Control is non-existant
Stupidity in constant demand
Escape is impossible
This was never the plan
It's apparent I'm not worthy
But I really need a friend
I hate who I've become
Self-destruction will bring the end
I say what I don't mean
I mean what I don't say
Rage and aggression are the norm
Ignored and melting us away
You are the rainbow
Peeking through the clouds
A moment of pure beauty
I've ruined all I found
I know you need time
And time is what you'll get
Tell me when you're ready
And by your side is where I'll fit
As much as I've hurt you
I've hurt myself more
You are the good thing
My spiteful words chose to ignore
Your happiness is my priority
Yet I'm the problem
A shadow of my former self
A figment I've forgotten
I'm sorry.
