My Relationship with Math
Once upon a time, you were all I ever wanted.
You would never be mine, I feared;
But suddenly one day you appeared.
With you by my side, I was never taunted.
All I ever wanted was an A+ in Algebra II.
My previous efforts were fruitless;
My desire was becoming rootless
But at last, my wish had finally come true.
I hated to confront you and solve your problem.
I saw you and my eyes popped
All my reasoning skills flopped.
For I did not know from where your woes stem.
I’m sorry, Math, but you really need to mature.
I won’t always be at your side.
In me you can’t always confide.
You can find your “Ex” by yourself, I’m sure.
