The Distance
The emptiness is filled.
The wait is over.
The wondering is done.
Since you came around,
My solitude is gone.
We’ve been together
For a good while.
Our story in many chapters.
A book with no end,
Even in the life after.
It matters not how far you are
Every night I see a star.
That reminds me of you,
And how much I care about you.
I know I tell you this every day.
If you were a thousand miles away,
I’d go the distance, just to hear you say
I love you.
