Skül Dayz (A dramatic look on the days of school)
Running to class with pencils in hand,
People look so different, so grown and so tanned
From the hot summer beaches.
Now it’s papers and speeches!
No more time to play in the sand!
People complain about getting less sleep.
Going to bed now is hard, I’ve tried counting sheep.
And as weeks pass by,
Homework says, “Well, hi!”
As it piles up in a big, papery heap.
Thanksgiving comes, and it’s gone in a flash.
It’s back to school in a mad dash.
The school year is passing,
My schoolwork’s harassing.
With my life this school will now clash.
Finally, winter break comes and leaves.
More homework on school days, I soon receive.
But in this hardworking midst,
This though, I assist:
Skül dayz are good for me, I believe!
