Broken Man
I watched a man break down last night
Though his mouth and eyes were out of sight
I felt it quiver i felt it run
I felt his pain and where it's from
It's help he needs though he's alone
He holds no hate his eyes have shown
There is no room for hate and malice
Inside his mind his broken chalice
Completely filled up to the brim
With pain and loss its setting in
He’s crying now it's half past 10
In shaking hands he holds a pen
A vial of toxin there to wait
For the hurting man's broken state

I wrote this poem while i was in the hospital. I tried to do something horrible, so i ended up at in patient at mercy hospital. The inspiration for this poem came from me staring out my window one night. I looked accross to the building opposite mine. i stared at all the people in the windows doing their own things. Then I noticed a man sitting in front of the window with his head in his hands. I said to myself that man looks broken. I could feel his pain. Because i felt it before it was admitted to the hospital.
