The Sky Was Always Blue
I am weak
I kind of wanna scream
I took a nap and now I can't sleep
I have no one else to blame for that
And many other things, except myself
I thought I was getting better
At being me
But it's been 5 or 6 years
And no time has passed
I tried looking Truth in the face
And proving it wrong
To change the sky from blue to green
But no matter what I do
No matter what I do
The sky will always stay the same
It may want to change it's color
It may paint itself
Red or pink or yellow
But eventually is thins out
And reality will bleed through
To show the world
The sky was always blue
The sky was always blue
What should I do now?
I always believed I could to anything
I set my mind to
I thought I did for a while
But the paint is starting to flake away
I'm just not that person
The person I thought I could be
The person I thought I was already
What am I complaining for?
I need to stop my whining and winging
I have everything, I'm spoiled silly
But it feels good, it feels good
I tried looking Truth in the face
And proving it wrong
To change the sky from blue to green
But no matter what I do
No matter what I do
The sky will always stay the same, always stay the same
It may want to change it's color
It may paint itself
Red or pink or yellow
But eventually it thins
And reality will bleed through
To show the world
The sky was always blue
The sky was always blue
