A Better Tomorrow
(Verse 1)
We are the generation of anxiety,
A brewing revolution.
We are the children of calamity,
Watching the apocalypse.
We are kids living in fear
Of the horrors on the news
Scared we’ll all just disappear,
Or become martyrs.
(Pre-Chorus)
Loose gunmen,
Nuclear bombs,
A presidential bogeyman,
Looming over us.
(Chorus)
We could die today,
So we fight for a better tomorrow.
Yes, we riot today,
We fight against our sorrow.
(Verse 2)
This is the death of humanity,
The era of corruption.
The age of insanity,
Can’t trust anyone.
This is the death of innocence,
Us kids growing up too fast.
This is the birth of dissonance,
Of change, of rebellion.
(Chorus)
We could die today,
So we fight for a better tomorrow.
Yes, we riot today,
We fight against our sorrow.

I wrote this song because I was scared and frustrated with our world. Sometimes, it feels like we're forced to deal with problems that the generation before us created. I decided to express that with these lyrics. My main inspiration for songwriting is the band Green Day, and punk rock in general.
