Are filled with tears
They are
Tears from a broken heart
A heart who used to call
You hero
Well, I've grown to be wiser
And discovered the mistakes
Of that child.
I have no emotion
You never let me feel
You stole my soul
Allowing me nothing
But you
I now see
What I was once blind to
All the hate
And pain you gave me
Is brimming on the surface.
Tears flow freely
Down this page
Tears from every broken dream
You never gave a chance
To grow.
