Torn From A Rainbow
The stench of raw regrets is getting to me,
The rush of fifty oceans drips into me,
The shadow of your life still crawls beside me,
But the swift uplifting anger creates danger that remains.
This undenying stab won't last forever,
But every breath i breathe i still remember,
These shallow edged waters plead for thunder,
But still, it never rains.
Posters cover graffiti on abandoned walls,
Rip them down and paint X's over hearts,
Jump the rail and ride the top of the car,
Do you really think you're getting somewhere?
Yard by yard these miles of truth unfold me,
The smell of whispered secrets still withholds me,
I guess i'm left to face this lethal tsunami,
on my own,
ten skies to go,
til I'd be free.
Too bad you never found me.....
