You're What I'm Reminded Of
Stand beside my window, and watch the leaves spin til they hit the earth and fly across the yard.
Suddenly I feel your, hand in mine as we're running down the street,
In the middle of fall..
How can one year, change you all the way?
I still miss you, even though I walked away.
How can seasons make you cry because you realize you miss the way it was?
You're what I'm reminded of when autumn comes and blows away the sun. <3
Stand beneath the willow tree, and look up through the branches toward the sky.
And suddenly you're there with me, daring me to climb it wayy too high..
How can two years, change the way you live?
I remember you, but we were just two kids.
When you took my hand and ran with me my whole world shot off fireworks in red and gold.
You're what I'm reminded of when summer stars outshine the midnight cold.
Standing in a baseball field, covered by a midnight starry sky, just you and I, hand in hand.
Then unrealistically, we drew gigantic hearts into the sand.
You asked me if I knew how to dance.
I told you maybe somewhat, then laughed and said no. No I can't..
And then you said I'll teach you someday. You wanna race?
And then we ran.
I was absolutely all the way incredibly happy on that night.
You're what I'm reminded of when fairy tale stories are real life. :)
