Purely Lovely
Don’t draw me a smile
On that piece of paper
If you have no intent on making me smile
Don’t call me pretty
When you don’t believe it
Sometimes you do things that’s ain’t worth my while
And sometimes it hurts
And sometimes I cry
But I still I am strong
So don’t waste my time
I’m not wishing for another love story
But would it kill you, to be honest with me?
In a world full of War, hate, and hypocrisy
Lets have a love, that is purely lovely
Don’t put our names in a that heart
On that binder in your bag
If you don’t want my heart
Don’t hold my hand
When you want to be holding hers
You might think I’m dumb, I am smart
And sometimes it burns
And sometimes I don’t think
But I stay strong
Even when I’m on the brink
I’m not wishing for another love story
But would it kill you, to be honest with me?
In a world full of War, hate, and hypocrisy
Lets have a love, that is purely lovely
And I’m not asking for much
And I don’t want you to go
But sometimes I want to ask
But sometimes I want to know
And yes, I really love you
And yes, nothing can take you from me
But is this love just passion
Or is it…purely lovely?
